Our MissionOrpha Lodge is committed to provide our guests with the most comfortable and relaxing vacation experience possible. Host ProfileOrpha Lodge was constructed in 1932 by Harold and Orpha Reese, residents of Flint, Michigan. Using architecture and construction techniques designed to portray a cabin constructed in the 1800's. The interior and exterior of of the lodge is constructed entirely of wood. From the pine ceilings and tongue & groove cedar sided walls to the maple hardwood floors and the fieldstone fireplace & Franklin stove, the Orpha Lodge is simply a warm and natural getaway designed to take you back to a simpler, slower more comfortable place in time. (click on picture for larger image) Orpha Lodge guests upon first entering have stated: "it's like time travel". The ambiance immediately captures and embraces you, inviting you to slow down, relax and rejuvenate. A sound system secluded in a corner hidden from view, provides access to your favorite CD music so bring them along. No television is provided so if you must breech the "time travel" experience, please bring your own TV (an antennae is available for the visually addicted)! Your hosts Brad & Ann Eagle, residents of Northern Michigan since 1982, wish to share the Up North experience with you. Please call or e-mail for more information or to book your reservations now.
